1. Who we are:
Business Visibility Forum [BVF] is a private membership group run by a core of a small number of Foundation Members, based in Australia.
When we say “we/us/our” we mean the Business Visibility Forum team. When we say “you”, we mean a paying or invited member of the Business Visibility Forum.
2. What this group is:
Business Visibility Forum is a private online community for business owners and founders to learn, share ideas, and support each other. - We provide things like posts, resources, events, calls, workshops, and messages (via email, platforms, or app notifications). - Membership is by application or invitation. We can accept or decline membership at our discretion.
3. Being a member – what you agree to:
By joining and staying in the group, you agree to;
- Follow these Terms of Use and any community guidelines we share in the group.
- Use your real identity and keep your account details secure.
- Be respectful – no abuse, racism, harassment, hate speech, bullying, or spam.
- Keep other members’ private stories and details confidential unless they clearly give permission to share.
- Not share paid content, call recordings, or internal resources outside the group without written permission.
If you break these rules, we may warn you, pause your access, or remove you from the group without refund for serious or repeated issues.
4. Payments, renewals and cancellations: - Membership may be paid monthly, yearly, or as otherwise offered at sign‑up.
- If you join on a recurring plan, your membership will renew automatically until you cancel.
- You can cancel future renewals at any time via the platform or by contacting us. Your access continues until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
- Unless required by Australian consumer law, fees already paid are generally non‑refundable.
We may change pricing or inclusions. If we do, we will give you reasonable notice and you can choose to stay or cancel before the new terms start.
5. Messages, emails and SMS:
- When you join, you agree we can contact you about the group and our services via email, in‑platform notifications, and sometimes SMS or phone.
- Messages may include reminders, event info, updates, offers, and important service notices.
- Standard carrier charges may apply for SMS from your mobile provider. We don’t charge extra for messages.
You can opt out of marketing messages at any time (see “How to unsubscribe” below), but we may still need to send essential service messages such as billing or security notices.
6. How to unsubscribe from SMS:
- To stop receiving SMS from us, reply with STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE (or the equivalent option offered by the platform).
- It may take a short time to process, and you might receive one final message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed.
- If anything glitches, you can also contact us directly to be removed.
7. Content you see in the group:
- We share information, ideas, and general guidance for education and support only. It is not personal financial, legal, tax, or health advice.
- You are responsible for how you use any information or ideas from the group in your business.
- We do our best to keep information accurate and up to date, but we can’t guarantee everything will always be complete, current, or suitable for your specific situation.
You should get independent professional advice before making important legal, financial, or strategic decisions.
8. Content you post:
Anything you post in the group (text, images, videos, files, comments, or chat messages):
- Must be your own work or something you have the right to share.
- Must not break the law, breach someone else’s copyright or privacy, or be misleading or defamatory.
- Stays yours, but you give us a licence to use it inside the group (for example, to display it, share it with members, or include it in call recordings).
If you share something in a “public” part of the group (for example, general feeds), other members may see it and could copy or screenshot it. We can’t fully control what others do, so please only share what you’re comfortable with.
9. Our intellectual property:
- All group materials, including frameworks, training, call replays, PDFs, templates, and branding, belong to us (or are used with permission).
- You get a personal, non‑transferable licence to use them for your own business.
- You must not copy, resell, republish, or repackage our materials or brand them as your own.
10. Availability and technology:
- Sometimes the platform, website, or messaging tools may be down for maintenance, upgrades, or issues outside our control.
- We can’t guarantee access 24/7, but we’ll take reasonable steps to keep the service running smoothly and fix issues as soon as practical.
We are not responsible for delays, failures, or data loss caused by your internet, your device, or third‑party platform outages.
11. Liability and disclaimers:
As far as the law allows:
- Business Visibility Forum is provided “as is” – we do not promise any particular results for your business.
- We are not responsible for any loss of profit, revenue, data, or opportunities that may arise from your use of the group or your decisions based on group content.
- Our total liability to you (if any) is limited to the amount you have paid us for membership in the previous 12 months, unless the law requires more.
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Australian consumer law.
12. Changes to these Terms:
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time.
- If the changes are important, we will post an update in the group and/or email you.
- The “Last updated” date at the top will always show when the latest version took effect.
If you keep using the group after changes are posted, that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Contact us: If you have questions or concerns about these terms or the group;
- Email: [email protected]
